Better Than Bouillon concentrated bases are made from meat (or vegetables). This gives them a richer, more robust flavor than ordinary bouillons. No fat, lower sodium: Better Than Bouillon bases are fat free and have 1/3 less salt than ordinary bouillons.

Basic stock directions: dissolve 1 teaspoon chicken base in 8 oz boiling water. For each quart of stock needed, use 1 1/2 tablespoons organic chicken base. Use for basic stock for soups, sauces and gravies, or to cook vegetables, rice or pasta with more flavor.
