Henry & Lisa's Solid White Albacore Tuna, Sashimi Grade, Fully Cooked TenderloinIt's Wildly Delicious, Eat it Straight from the Can
No Preservatives. No Antibiotics. No Chemicals. No Hormones. Just 100% premium grade seafood and nothing else! This sashimi grade (yes, sashimi grade in a can!) tuna loins are deep chilled on-board within minutes, preserving the meat's peak freshness. At the local micro-cannery, only the best part of the loin is used, and the tuna is cooked only once in the can, in its own Omega-3 rich oils. Due to this process, and the rich oils of this cold water species, this tuna is five times higher in heart-healthy Omega-3 than most brands. It is also much lower in mercury than most brands, because the tuna used are smaller. The bottom line is this is the highest quality, healthiest canned tuna you can buy - gourmet all the way!
EcoFish Albacore Tuna come from family fishers in the Pacific Northwest troll fisher (Hook-and Line). Due to the selective nature of troll gear and region of harvest, the otherwise common by-catch (catching untargeted species) of dolphins, turtles and shark is not an issue. These Albacore are abundant because they are prolific breeders, fast growing and wide-ranging. A portion of the sale of this item will go to help support sea turtle restoration efforts.
Healthy Population. Responsible Management. Limited By-Catch. Low Impact Gear. Local Community Benefit. Dolphin Safe

This tuna is VERY GOOD eaten straight out of the can. The price is worth it. The primary reason it is good is because not only does it have good flavor, but the tuna is moist! Most canned tuna fish is dry despite being in oil but this canned tuna is very good and worth the price.
