The insides of the cans have a food safe lining to help keep the product fresh for its entire shelf life. Meyenberg has tested both the lining of the cans and the scoops, and both have come back clear and clean of any Bisphernol A, or other similar BPA's found in some plastic liners and plastic items.

The MEYENBERG tradition of producing quality goat milk began in the late 1800's when a Swiss immigrant John B. Meyenberg, invented the process for evaporating cow's milk. His son, John P. Meyenberg, could not drink cow's milk.
In the green pastures of California, John P. Meyenberg discovered that delicious, nutritious goat milk was much easier to digest than cow milk. He knew that surely there must be others that would enjoy this "miracle" milk. In 1934, he was the first American to evaporate goat's milk and the family tradition continues today.
