Yogi Breathe Deep Tea

Breathe Deep Tea is certified organic and features a blend of herbs and spices formulated to enhance healthy breathing. This healing formula utilizes organic thyme, an herb whose active ingredient, thymol, helps to loosen phlegm and relax the muscles of the respiratory tract. Breathe Deep tea also includes organic Australian eucalyptus (eucalyptus globulus) and elecampane (inula helenium), pungent herbs that clear the mucous membranes and are beneficial to total respiratory health.

Organic basil acts as a warming, adaptogenic herb traditionally used to support the respiratory system and help the body adjust to stress. Organic ginger root soothes the stomach and aids with digestion. The formula is also enhanced with Organic Mullein, a cooling herb soothing to the mucous membranes.

Yogi Teas recommend that Breathe Deep be sweetened with a teaspoon or two of honey, which has been traditionally known to support the body's expectoration process.
